I am honored to be nominated by the District Leadership Committee as a candidate for District Director for District 220 for the 2026-2027 Toastmasters year. Below is my
VIEW for a successful year in which our One District 220 Serves All Toastmasters.

• Accessibility and responsiveness.
• Developing new leaders.
• Including everyone.
• Let’s have fun while doing this!

• Focus on the essentials of setting clubs up for success: dues payment, trained officers, Club Success Plan.
• Using best practices from Districts 27 and 36.
• Encouraging in-person experiences while supporting our virtual members.
• Always remembering that the member comes first. District 220’s top priority is helping people develop communication and leadership skills and gain confidence through Toastmasters.
• The Distinguished Club Program is a tool and a measure that club leaders can use to identify how to better serve their club members.

• Nearly 35 years of Toastmasters experience serving clubs, areas, and District 27.
• Expertise in the Pathways program, as a repeat Vice President Education, a past Pathways Guide, several legacy and one Pathways DTM, and five completed Paths.
• A proven record of success in club growth, helping District 27 achieve Distinguished status in 2024-2025.
• A passion for Toastmasters.

• To build new clubs and support all clubs in achieving excellence.
• To empower people to become more effective communicators and leaders, through a supportive, excellent club.
• To bring two historical districts to be One District 220 Serving All Members.
