I am honored to be nominated by the District Leadership Committee as a candidate for District Director for District 220 for the 2026-2027 Toastmasters year. Below is my

My Inspiration

• Focus on the essentials of setting clubs up for success: dues payment, trained officers, Club Success Plan.
• Using best practices from Districts 27 and 36.
• Encouraging in-person experiences while supporting our virtual members.
• Always remembering that the member comes first. District 220’s top priority is helping people develop communication and leadership skills and gain confidence through Toastmasters.
• The Distinguished Club Program is a tool and a measure that club leaders can use to identify how to better serve their club members.

My Experience

• Nearly 35 years of Toastmasters experience serving clubs, areas, and District 27.
• Expertise in the Pathways program, as a repeat Vice President Education, a past Pathways Guide, several legacy and one Pathways DTM, and five completed Paths.
• A proven record of success in club growth, helping District 27 achieve Distinguished status in 2024-2025.
• A passion for Toastmasters.

  • Chartered 5 clubs, with a sixth chartered in July 2025
  • Achieved a 97 percent retention rate among clubs, only losing two.
  • Achieved a 6 percent growth in member payments.
  • Appointed 12 club coaches. Six clubs became Distinguished.
  • 97 percent timely submission of club success plan
  • 89 percent of clubs had 4+ trained in round 1, with 29 clubs having all 7 trained. 76 percent of all officers trained.
  • 84 percent of clubs had 4+ trained in round 2, with 22 clubs having all 7 trained. 70 percent of all officers trained.
  • Innovative awards – monthly drawings for a free path for all who completed a level, April drawing for two complimentary conference admissions for clubs with 7 trained both sessions.
  • Served on CGD Team, 2023-2024. Involved in chartering two clubs. 98 percent club retention rate.
